The 18cm Eastern Barred Bandicoot is from the Australian Animal collection. It has been carefully hand crafted in partnership with wildlife experts and brought to life with meticulous attention to detail.

These small nocturnal marsupials were once widespread across the grasslands and woodlands of western Victoria and South Australia.  The decline of the Eastern Barred Bandicoot is primarily due to predation from foxes and loss of habitat.

The soft faux fur has been carefully coloured to represent the colours of a Bandicoot including its faint stripes or bars.
